This was a well organized, friendly, and fun race! This was my first experience running a half marathon and I will absolutely run this every year from now on! The volunteers were AMAZING!

The organization is great and with it being a new marathon the amount of people running it continues to grow. It's a good time.

Volunteers were great along with the aid stations. Cheering crowds were a great help too.

This is my favorite race each year and 2016's race continued to remind me why. Great race with excellent communications, value, expo, post-race food, and SWAG. As a non-profit race benefiting a charity, the race team focuses on exceeding runner expectations. The race shares their proceeds with great local charities as well. This year's gift was a finisher jacket for each runner. Do not miss this race!

"Great aid stations. Post race food was meh!" (about: 2016)

I ran the marathon, which was an okay course, nothing fantastic about it. Best thing about the race were the aid stations. They were well spaced out and enough of them, such that I didn't have to carry any fluids. Post race marathon food- I got gatorade, a cheese roll and bacon taco. That was it. The medal and finishers jacket were nice.

This is the best race series by far. The volunteers and spectators are so supportive. You truly feel like you're running with thousands of friends. The aid stations and water stops are top notch and the race directors and staff are truly amazing!

The weather was terrible with wind, rain, and flooding on streets, but the race went off without a hitch. The volunteers and police braved the elements, and provided great support. After race was good too, even for the conditions. The race organizers kept us informed in the week leading up to the race, did a great job.

J. L. from College Station, Texas (12/16/2015)
"Despite the weater, the race was a blast!" (about: 2015)

The Baylor Scott & White BCS Marathon was so much fun despite it being during a flash flood for most of the race. The spectators were ready to cheer on anyone who crossed their paths. The whole organization of the event was so well orchestrated even with the uncertainties of the storm.

R. C. from Round Rock, TX (12/16/2015)
"An outstanding event" (about: 2015)

I have run many marathons around the country and this is one that I come back to every year. The organization is top notch from the pre-race communication to the race logistics to the post race food. The race director and his team are to be commended.

The weather this year was a real challenge, but the everything seemed to run smoothly from my perspective. The volunteers were helpful and encouraging from start to finish even though most had been standing in the rain for hours. The food at the finish was quite good as always. The long-sleeved technical finisher shirt and medal were very nice
